Our Cups Runneth Over 1220x1090mm

 

This painting was inspired from a playful heart, as well as a desire to challenge my technical skills.

I enjoy painting the female form and so have explored the combination of  women, portrayed with random objects that are not so likely placed together in a realistic sense.

In this painting I have experimented with space and detail,colour and light,object and form and have brought about an allover balance, whilst still depicting an unexpected combination.

Although this piece does not include my usual and much loved 'wobbly buildings', they will in future works, still feature........but perhaps not as predominantly.

I wanted to introduce you to a new series of ideas by introducing the human form. While not wanting to give too much away, I believe I am moving into a very intriguing place, that will give off a sense of pure whackiness and complete delight.
